DR. STEVEN KEITH
Dr. Steven Keith is board certified in Primary Care Optometry and Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He is also an active member of the Georgia and American Optometric Associations and the Scleral Lens Society.
Dr. Keith earned his B.S. at Indiana University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa. Election to Phi Beta Kappa is the highest academic honor awarded to an undergraduate in the liberal arts and sciences. About one college senior in a hundred nationwide is invited to join.
He continued his professional training at the Indiana University School of Optometry, completing the doctoral program with honors. He taught two courses for the optometry school and was voted Associate Instructor of the Year by his students.
He has served this area since 1995, and the practice has grown to over 10,000 patients. He has been voted “Best Optometrist” by separate reader’s choice awards over 25 times.
Dr. Keith and his wife Cathy have called Towne Lake home for over 30 years. They weren’t born in the South but got here as soon as they could! They have three children and two son-in-laws, all five are Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets! Dr. Keith and Cathy love their golden retrievers, boating and attending Woodstock City Church.
DR. CHRISTOPHER LUFT
Dr. Christopher Luft is board certified in Primary Care Optometry and Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease. He is an active member of the American Optometric Association and fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Luft attended Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, where he was an NCAA Division I swimmer. He earned his doctorate from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and was one of less than 500 applicants selected for the U.S. Navy Health Profession Scholarship Program.
After graduation, Dr. Luft served four years active duty in Norfolk, Virginia as a lieutenant in the Navy. He completed a fill-in tour in Rota, Spain as the department head of the optometry clinic, providing quality eye care to active duty members and their families. He went on to complete an ocular disease residency at the Wilmington, Delaware VA Hospital.
Dr. Luft excels at comprehensive family eye care, including glasses and contacts, with a passion in ocular disease, including glaucoma and other complex pathologies.
Outside of academics and practice, Dr. Luft loves to cook, is an avid fantasy sports writer, a Brazilian jiu-jitsu student, and married to the love of his life. Together they have two children, just over 2 years apart.
DR. SARA AAMIR
Dr. Sara Aamir earned her BA at NYU in New York, New York and her doctorate degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is passionate about family eye care, with a special interest in pediatrics.
Dr. Sara Aamir is a native of Minnesota and moved to the Woodstock/Canton area shortly after she earned her doctorate degree in 2012. Her interests outside of the office include reading, traveling, and spending family time with her husband and four children.
DR. AMY PATEL
Dr. Amy Patel is a board certified Optometrist, providing comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, and treatment and management of ocular disease for patients of all ages. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Doctor of Optometry from Indiana University School of Optometry. Dr. Patel is from Indiana, but enjoys living in the south for the warm weather and southern hospitality.
Dr. Patel has a passion for helping others and is dedicated to providing optimal patient care. She strongly believes in taking the time to listen to each patient’s needs in order to serve them in the best way possible. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, cooking, reading and traveling.
